Las Palomas in La Cuenca de la Esperanza is just a short distance
away from the city of Guanajuato. This place is blessed with natural
beauty and bio-diversity and is an ideal spot for hikers, campers,
bikers and bird watchers. The north eastern part of the state
with its beautiful hills and mountains make for excellent hiking
and mountain biking.

botanical gardens of San Miguel de Allende with its fantastic
variety of cacti is one of the finest in Mexico. An ideal place
for naturalists. Another important nature area is Sierra de Lobos.

picnic and camping spot, excellent for fishing and hiking.
