results so far have been excellent. By the way, the Spanish
language school is located in this area of Mazatlan.
There are many old buildings and plazas
in the old town area. Currently there are over 400 buildings
that are designated as national historic landmarks. This
part of Mazatlan has a distinctive historical feel to it,
and the old buildings are beautiful. It is a great place
to stroll around to see the building, watch the people or
do a little bit of shopping.

is no exception. The locals are very fond of their team
and so the games are full of enthusiastic fans. The season
rund from October through December. Seeing a game in Mexico
is very different from what you get in the US. So for a
baseball fan consider going to the stadium watching a game
and enjoying some tacos and beer.

highest lighthouse in the world resides in Mazatlan. The
two that are higher reside in Spain. The lighthouse sites

ships can see the light from almost 30 miles out at sea.
It is possible to hike to the top of the hill in about 30
minutes. The view from the top of the hill is excellent
and makes the climb worthwhile.
The Aquarium

found in Latin America. The collection of fish at the aquarium

an afternoon watching a bullfight. While we may not like
the activity, In Mexico there is a long tradition of bullfighting.
Bullfights run during the winter months. They start on December
25th and run through April.

When people think of cliff diving in Mexico
Acapulco always comes to mind. Acapulco however is not the
only place to go in Mexico to watch cliff divers. Twice
a day stop by Olas Altas to wach the divers doing their
thing. The water is only 6 ft deep, so the divers have to
have good timing plus know what they are doing.
