Just
to the south of Costa Rica lies the relatively undiscovered country
of Panama. In Central America Costa Rica is the most popular tourist
destination. However recently Panama is beginning to take off.
Panama offers everything Costa Rica has plus far less tourists.

are countless, ranging from hiking through rainforests, rafting
down wild rivers to snorkeling and deep see fishing. Combine this
with an interesting Spanish heritage, friendly people and interesting

The savvy traveler knows that the country still is an unspoiled

in the world. If you are interesting in seeing some of the most
amazing plant and animal life anywhere in the world, then Panama
should be high on your list of places to visit!
Your first stop in Panama will be to Panama
City. This is truly a modern city full of modern skyscrapers,
malls, office buildings and the like. It is easily the most advanced
city in Central America. Despite the modern feel, Panama City
still has sections full of colonial charm. The government is working
hard to refurbish this areas, and if you have time you should
stop by to see them. The city is also a great jumping off point
for the undiscovered rainforests and tropical beaches. Within
a short distance of the city you have access to at least 15 tropical
reserves and national parks.
Whatever
your reasons are for visiting Panama you will not be dissappointed.
