Sacred Valley Spanish Program
This program is offered through our Cusco Spanish School (option #2)
One of our most unusual Spanish programs. Learn Spanish in the Sacred Valley of the Incas in the picturesque village of Yanahuara.
Studying Spanish in the Sacred Valley gives you chance to get away from the multitudes in Cusco and get to enjoy the tranquility of traditional Peruvian life. This location is about an hour away from Cusco by bus.
From this location you have wonderful views of the snow-capped peaks of the Andes. Around the area you and view how the locals live.
The Spanish school and residence building are comfortable and reside within enclosed grounds surrounded by beautiful gardens. The building itself is divided up between the residence area and the study areas. Besides comfortable classrooms you will find nice bedrooms and bathrooms, a kitchen, dining room, and a rest area with a pool table.
Studying Spanish in the Sacred Valley puts you in the heart of Incan culture with easy access to some of Peru’s most noted Inca ruins, including Ollantaytambo, Pisac, Chinchero, Moras and Moray. There are numerous pre-Hispanic archaeological ruins, which were built by different Incas and used as citadels or resting places. Studying in the Sacred Valley gives you a chance to visit Inca fortresses, markets, salt flats, cultivated Inca terraces, and much more! Spanish lessons take place in either the morning or late afternoon, allowing time to explore the Sacred Valley by walking, mountain biking, horseback riding, or four wheeling.
A week of Spanish courses in the Sacred Valley includes transportation from Cusco, accommodations (either in a private or a shared room), all meals, and Spanish lessons (10). Participants have spoken so highly of this location that we strongly recommend all students take part in this program.
